Ocean Park – Aqua City

As part of Ocean Park’s redevelopment and expansion plans, Leighton’s constructed the state-of-the-art Aqua City, which included a new entry podium for the local marine theme park, a giant aquarium equipped with a life support system, lagoons as well as dining and retail outlets. At the heart of Aqua City is the egg-shaped Grand Aquarium attraction, which lights up at night and is home to over 5,000 sea creatures. Work on the Grand Aquarium façade required more than 250 individually sized and cut glass panels to fit and cover the multifaceted surface.​​
