M+ is the new museum for visual culture in Hong Kong, as part of West Kowloon Cultural District, focusing on 20th and 21st century art, design and architecture and moving image.
Occupying an area of approximately 60,000 square metres, the upcoming M+ Museum will be situated in the centre of the WKCD, adjacent to WKCD Park. The new museum will be housed in an innovative structure designed by the award-winning Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron together with the Hong Kong firm TFP Farrells and Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong.
